EDNext

The European Dancehouse Network (EDN) is an ambitious initiative that’s been building trust and cooperation between European dancehouses since the mid-2000s. With a clear mission of a sustainable future for the contemporary dance sector, the network already had two successful Creative Europe-funded projects under its belt. When they came to us for a third round of funding, we jumped at the opportunity to help them write their application. The result? EDNext.

With a grant amount of €825,000 (the maximum funding available under the scheme), the project will continue to expand EDN’s reach and impact in Europe throughout 2022 and 2023, primarily through capacity-building, networking, exchange of knowledge and skills, as well as research and advocacy.

The aim is to build a more sustainable and inclusive European dance sector that will benefit approximately 3,000 dance professionals, dance institutions, as well as local communities and audiences more broadly.
