More EU funding for projects bringing European culture to a wider audience

We’re all about bringing cultural works to European audiences here at TrueMotion, so when the opportunity comes along to help clients secure funding to do just that, we get pretty excited.

We’ve been hard at work on writing a load of EU project proposals in 2019. Our efforts have already started to show results with a number of cultural and creative projects recently securing EU funding. Now we’re happy to report that three more innovative projects that focus on boosting the digital and online availability of European culture have been selected to receive EU funding!

Since our last update, we’ve been hard at work on a whole bunch of proposals for projects that boost the digital and online availability of European culture.

OutTV spreads its wings

OutTV continues into a third successful year with the support of the European Commission. The VOD platform caters to the ever-growing LGBTQI audience in Europe. It can now focus on expanding its services to new markets. Our insider scoop: soon launching in the UK!

ODMedia, a wider selection films on demand

The audiovisual industry can be brutal in choosing which films to promote and distribute. Exposure and revenues for some excellent European films often narrowly miss the go-ahead for international release and never reach the wider audiences they deserve.

Enter the EU-funded project by ODMedia Ready, Play, Engage with European Films. Through an innovative testing model specifically aimed at generating revenues for the kinds of films that sometimes fall through the cracks, ODMedia is making incredible strides in promoting the diversity and reach of great new European films.

Ticketing Group takes Cultuurticket to new markets

Last but not least, we’re thrilled to see Cultuurticketa fresh, data-driven online ticketing platform that is proud of its transparent, no-hidden-fees ethos—expanding into new markets. Our partner, Ticketing Group, a champion of bringing culture to wider audiences, will receive substantial EU support to launch Cultuurticket in four new European countries.

We wish the project teams all the best and look forward to seeing the results!
